Creating a level-cap character on Bullroarer
[Under construction]
You can copy an existing character to Bullroarer, but if you want to see things as a character at the new level cap, you will have to level your character up. There are tools to level up a character relatively quickly, but they only apply to newly created characters.
With the complexity of Legendary Items and essence armour, and all the other attributes that a realistic level-cap character has, it will take some effort to make one. Here are some tips:
Read the posts at the top of the Bullroarer forum. Especially read the FAQ about the Eyes and Guard Tavern, the place where the magic happens. Also be sure to read the release notes for the particular beta and any earlier ones you missed. You will find Bullroarer chat full of people asking questions that are answered in those posts.
Read through this post before you start. Take note of information you may want to get from your life characters, for example, legacies and virtues you like, how you spend your trait points, how you arrange your quickslots, etc. This process recreates what normally takes weeks or months, and can be overwhelming if you have to start everything from scratch.
When you're ready to... More

Adventures with Stat Tomes
Although I am generally opposed to spending real money to improve my characters, I decided I might spend a few of my accumulated Turbine Points for some stat tomes. My storage alt was holding a few dozen tomes I had accumulated, but of course there were missing ones, and you can’t use a stat tome until you have all the lower tiers of that stat. I had some duplicates I could sell to raise gold, but I expected it was going to cost me a lot of gold unless I wanted to spend a lot of TP.
Stat Tome Basics
Using a stat tome permanently adds some amount of a stat to your character. The stats available are Agility, Might, Will, Vitality and Fate. Tiers I through VI add 15, tier VII adds 30, and tiers VIII and higher add 40. If you have forgotten what tomes you have used, look at your skill window (“k”), Passive tab, Attribute Enhancements. If you mouse over a tome, it will be red if you haven’t yet used the next lower tier tome.
Stat tomes come from a variety of places. They may be in lootboxes or my drop in instances and battles, in which case they can be sold or traded. They may be in Hobbit Presents (I have seen tiers I to VIII), in which case they are bound to account The Sack of Presents... More
